 IDEALIST  But more than an idle dreamer, Ivaythe holds strong ambitions to heighten her family, community, and herself. ALTRUISTIC  Charity is sacred and she believes to give is her divine duty to Nald'thal. It is a stance she takes seriously and thus suffers disdain for the wasteful or luxury without a purpose. PRIDE  Generous though far from gentle. One hand is offered in charity while the other wraps around opportunity. She works to deepen her influence in Ul'dah and elevates to greater heights of power. DISTINCTION  Ivaythe’s signature style blends ornamental design with geometric structure, elevated by civic innovation. Her art is distinctly regal, yet harmonizes with Thanalan’s vibrant identity.

Ivaythe Vesperius née Delamair is the eldest daughter of Baron Auguste de Delamair and Imogène de Cailleteau, with twin younger brothers, Émile and André. The Delamair barony resides in a rich valley in Western Coerthas known as  Vallée de Verre, a once lush ribbon of green and turquoise now faded to pale and gray in the wake of the Calamity. This change forced the family to shift its focus extracting alchemical and architectural resources, most notably  Vélaith Glass, a high value mineral used for mortar and stonework.During the final years of the Dragonsong War, Ivaythe remained behind to safeguard the manor while her parents served on the frontlines. Though isolated but vulnerable to wyvern attack, the Delamair manor endured repeated sieges and reconstructions. In time, the estate became impenetrable with  spires reaching the skies  built not only to deter aerial assault but to showcase an architectural richness unique to the Delamair family. Ivaythe’s home became a symbol of building artistry and endurance which shaped Ivaythe’s passion for architecture design and construction engineering.With the balance of both  art and function, The Delamairs held a strong position vassal to House Dzemael. With the Delamair’s expertise in mortar craft and restorative construction, as well as access to rare minerals, the alliance sustains their noble status and secures their place in Ishgard’s social and industrial stage.Baron Delamair is currently the lead for several infrastructure projects in Coerthas, and she Ivaythe earned education and hands-on experience with city planning and fortification. Remaining in Ishgard would have been the safer choice. But Ivaythe’s creative vision shimmered too brightly within the walls of the Holy See. It was a  haunting dream of ornament and elegance, better suited for a city that glimmers beneath an evening star. One that, though distant, would one day rise beside her name.She envisioned it.

Ivaythe's designs vehemently clashed with Ishgard's traditional style, and thus was given no opportunity for her art to flourish. So she left her home in search for a city more suited for her glittering palette. The clear choice was the jewel of the desert where art met luxury. In Ul'dah, her vision was not only was well received but found esteem among the peerage. Among them was  Lord Drakkaern Vesperius, a monetarist of influence and striking charm. He stood above the rest even beyond the heights of Ishgard. They formed an immediate connection, a balance of romance and ambitions to shape a better future for Thanalan.In contrast to Ishgard, Ul'dah showered her with gil and demand for her creativity and talent. Ornamental designs, luxurious materials, and geometric patterns were exalted in Thanalan and she began to consider Ul'dah her new home. Then, Ishgard pulled her back with an enticing offer in designing the new residential neighborhood. Ivaythe returned to the Holy See to over see the  Firmament and Empyreum  projects in both design and layout. Believing this was her Halone-gifted opportunity, she abandoned Ul'dah to the sands and left Lord Vesperius behind.But that dream job in Ishgard ended in unfulfillment and misery. The design projects were nothing more than rooftop gazebos, a sheer insult to her level of talent. And with the Firmament and Empyreum completed, Ivaythe was left at a standstill once again. Was leaving Ul'dah the right choice after all? Her heart weighed heavy and she immediately regretted what she left behind. But was too proud and stubborn to go back.After years apart, Lord Vesperius sought her out not only in presence, but to break her from Halone's shackles and  balance the scales  that had long weighed against them. Lord Vesperius offered advancement and project leads to flourish her career, if she would rejoin him in Ul'dah. With a ring. And with heart and purpose growing, it was all too impossible for Ivaythe to resist.The Ul'dan monetarist not only offered the Ishgardian something greater in career and but a promise of partnership in both personal and professional. He proposed plans and funding to kick start a  building charity  where she could be free to grow as an architect and feed her generous nature. That choice was obvious.She persued it.

Leaving Ishgard permanently for Ul'dah wasn’t always met with grace. Although Ivaythe's engagement to the Monetarist Lord was received as a diplomatic union between city states, her departure left a bitterness within a few circles. "Abandoning Halone for the Traders!" Whispers of stained pride and wounded tradition marred her family's name and soon followed to House Vesperius. Ivaythe, nor Drakkaern, would no longer sit idle to the nobility's indignation.Offenses were handled quietly through the kind of discretion only  Ul'dan power  could afford. The kind that stained pure snow with a deep red and earned a silent respect.She remains distant from Ishgard, not in excommunication but in pure choice. Now, she enjoys the freedom and creativity in architecture and building projects that fuel charity work, the kind of fulfillment that only Ul'dah can offer. She keeps herself busy with several projects, such as designing civic centers and city infrastructure, as well as  constructing venues  dedicated to historical and cultural enrichment. Elevation  is her first charity company dedicated to building, while the talents used towards Vesperius Hotels and properties. Her design work expanded from aesthetics to function with  Equilibrium,  a water equality project that provides clean and accessible water to Thanalan. And recently, her love for beauty and art gave a rise to  Eminence,  an art gallery dedicated to viewing Thanalan through the palette of Nald'Thal.In time, her work did more than help Ul'dah, they began to shape it as a reflection of the Vesperius image. Her talent grew, her influence spread, and her brand became the definition of luxury. The name Lady Ivaythe Vesperius soon was a pillar of the trifecta:  wealth, prestige, power. As the Vesperius ambitions expanded, so too did her presence, her potentional, and the way her delicate touch can shift the scales to their favor. What began as partnership deepened into the Vesperi Empire. It was not long until her image of a hopeful visionary from Ishgard gave way to the undeniable presence of Matriarch Ivaythe Vesperius.And from that place, she no longer followed the threads of wealth, prestige, and power.She defines it.

Elevation Architecture is a charity dedicated to improving Thanalan through affordable housing and cultural civic centers. The name 'Elevation' was inspired by the Coerthan mountains, where Ivaythe studied and first practiced architecture. Now based in Uld'ah, Ivaythe brings her visionary designs to life, blending an artistic style of geometric symmetry, sleek lines, and luxurious materials with the timeless beauty of Ul'dan oasis decor. A signature style she refers to as 'Oasis Deco.' Her most recent project, the Astera Oasis Hotel, showcases this style, which creates a rich venue that balances both luxury and Thanalan style.

Water is life. Water is balance. Thanalan is the sacred land of Nald'thal, and by their word all who walk the sands are offered the Golden Promise. It is overdue that the scales are balanced such that all of Nald'thal's children are offered the opportunity to seize their fortunes. By equalizing the access to clean water, Thanalan can prosper long into the future. Equilibrium: The Greater Thanalan Water Equality Initiative was founded to overcome challenges of water extraction and filtration. Clean water can now be plentiful through low-cost and low maintenance methods of aero-atherical water extracters
